The Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in London wishes to advise all customers travelling to Ethiopia to secure their visas (tourist and business) either online at www.evisa.gov.et or on arrival at Bole International Airport, without visiting the Embassy in person.

On 23rd October 2019, H.E. Ambassador Fesseha Shawel Gebre, was invited to Buckingham Palace by Her Majesty The Queen to formally present his credentials. In a ceremony, which is steeped in tradition and royal pageantry, Ambassador Fesseha was accompanied by his wife, Mrs Asegedech Amberber, and four senior diplomats.

Following the historic rapprochement between Ethiopia and Eritrea, a delegation led by Ambassador Hailemichael, senior diplomats and staff paid a courtesy visit to the Eritrean Embassy in London, to further cement the agreement and resume diplomatic ties.

Ethiopia and Eritrea resume diplomatic ties
The Embassy has recently been made aware of some people engaging in fraudulent acts of soliciting money for the Diaspora Trust Fund, which is still in the process of being set up. Please do not to fall victim to any scams, the Embassy will officially announce the launch of the Trust Fund once it has gone public.
