During the discussion, Ato Beyene appreciated the representatives for their determination to collaborate with the embassy to create platform for interested UK businesses to engage in manufacturing, agriculture, finance agribusiness, telecom, and tourism in Ethiopia. It has been agreed to work together to promote investment opportunities in Ethiopia; and the association will avail its network and information to realise the promotion.
In addition to the information he expounded on infrastructure, incentive programmes, and Ethiopia’s government support for international investors investing in Ethiopia, he also updated the representatives about recent encouraging peace developments in Tigray region of Ethiopia and the restoration of public services as well as supply of humanitarian goods.
