Director General for Africa and the Americas at the UK's Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office, Harriet Mathews paid a courtesy visit on Ambassador Teferi Melesse this morning. The two sides have exchanged views on ways of strengthening the longstanding bilateral relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Teferi Melesse attended graduation ceremony of the Chevening Ethiopia Leadership Fellowship class of 2023.

In his keynote speech, Ambassador Teferi thanked the UK government for providing strategically important training programs for leaders in Ethiopia. The Ambassador further emphasized that Chevening programs have helped promote the longstanding relations between Ethiopia and the United Kingdom.
