Diaspora Investment

To receive investment support services, applicants must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Complete the application form provided by the embassy.
  • Submit a copy of a valid Ethiopian passport and a copy of a valid British residence permit or ID, or
  • Submit a copy of a valid British passport and Ethiopian origin identity card if citizenship or nationality has changed.
  • Provide a brief concept note and the capital amount intended for the investment sector.
  • If the investment is made through a partnership or public limited company (PLC), submit copies of the memorandum of association, articles of incorporation, bylaws, and minutes of the meeting demonstrating the applicant’s membership in the entity.

Note: Upon submission, the embassy will issue a letter of support to the Ethiopian Diaspora Service.
