ADA-UK Annual Fundraising Event will be held on 28th August 2011 at the Ethiopian Embassy, London.
The money raised this year will be used to build a new primary school (grade 1-4) in the Amhara region, Ethiopia, and our goal is £30,000.

Ethiopia - A Journey to the Lost Kingdom
The Ethiopian Embassy, London and the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG), jointly organised an event where presentations were given by veteran broadcaster Jonathan Dimbleby and cultural historian Gus Casely-Hayford on the documentaries on Ethiopia that they produced this year. An exhibition and an illustrated talk were also held on the RGS premises in the afternoon, promoting the natural resources and wildlife in the Gambella state.
Explore Ethiopia: A Market on the Rise
A trade and investment promotion workshop jointly organized by the London Chamber of Commerce and the Ethiopian Embassy in the United Kingdom was held on 3rd November in London. The workshop was organized under the theme “Ethiopia: A Market on the rise.”
14th and 15th Editions - The Grand Trade Fair
Century Promotion Service is please to introduce the 14th and 15th editions of the Grand Trade Fair that will take place from December 23, 2010 - January 06, 2011 and April 09, 2011 - April 23, 2011, in connection with the Ethiopian Christmas and Easter festivals at the Addis Ababa Exhibition Centre. The two summer season festivals are the times when Ethiopians enjoy shopping and visiting market places. Of all times, these are the grandest of events that promise 20,000 - 30,000 visitors each day. The time also coincides with the highest inflow of tourists into the country that makes the event a melting pot for visitors arriving from all parts of the world.
15th Addis Chamber International Trade Fair
The Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations presents its compliments to all participants and has the honor to inform that it is organizing the 15th Addis Chamber International Trade Fair (15th ACITF) from February 10-16,2011 under the Motto:- “Women Entrepreneurship for Development” and the 4thSpecialized International Exhibition in Agriculture and Food (AGRIFEX ETHIOPIA IV) from June 09 to June 13,2011, both at the Addis Ababa Exhibition Center.
This is to announce that the Ethiopian Horticulture Producer Exporters Association (EHPEA), in collaboration with HPP exhibitors, is organising the fourth Ethiopia’s largest bi-annual trade fair (exhibition) “HortiFlora Ethiopia 2011”, for the horticulture industry between March 23 - 25, 2011 at the Millennium Hall in Addis Ababa.
3rd Ethio-Chamber International Trade Fair
Ethiopia is the Tiger Economy of the Eastern Africa. It has registered an average GDP growth rate of over 10% during the past five years. This amazing economic growth has made the country the fifth biggest economy in sub Saharan Africa.
The Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations (ECCSA), the umbrella organization of the country’s private sector, is making preparations to organize an International Trade Fair to promote interactions among national, regional and international businesses, at the renowned venue of Addis Ababa Exhibition Center from November 11 to 17, 2010.
