Ethiopian President sends condolences on the death of Pope

Ethiopian President Girma Wolde Giorgis has sent a message of condolence after Pope John Paul II passed away on Saturday 2nd April.

In a message conveyed to the Dean of the College of Cardinals, Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, President Girma expressed his deepest sadness on behalf of the Ethiopian people and Government.
