ADVANCE NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY FOR INTERVIEW ETHIOPIAN ACADEMICS TO VISIT UK

Two leading academics from Addis Ababa University (AAU) are to visit the UK from 11th March to 14th March 1999 to discuss the conflict between Ethiopia and Eritrea.

Bringing to the UK first hand knowledge of the current situation in the Horn of Africa, the delegation are available for interview about: the history of the two countries; their relations to date; the conflict and efforts to resolve it; the implications of the conflict; the future for peace in the region.

In addition, the delegation will be available to speak about Ethiopia in general, and in particular the developments in the country since the victory over the Derg in 1991.
